ill take your brains to another dimension, pay close attention.
what is the end of the world? its like that classic question, define beauty. its sure to bring out how people really think and how their mind works.
to me the world is already over. its had its time. its time was up in about 1960s. reason being, everything had been done. we'd been to the moon, apparently, at least into space, the computer was invented, the car had been invented for about 60 years then. theres nothing left to invent, nothing left to discover, that we actually need to. all that happens now is new trends, but even now you see trends of the past coming back in the way we dress the music we listen to. 'vintage', its just old, dated. the fact that its a trend of the present and people dress like that now doesnt mean its new, im guilty, i dress like it some of the time. we just go round in cycles of trends and unfortunately we'v come to an aggressive corner of this cycle. why? were bored. theres nothing left to do, people, are, bored. more and more people are starting to see and realise how things are actually turning out instead of being shadowed by press, media, and what certain people want you to think. this aggression has only been fueled by ourselves.
the past forty years havent been revolutionary, no discoveries, just improvement on what we already had. some could argue unnecessary improvement. technology, we had the computer, its just gotten small and faster, like everything else in technology development. our constant hunger for improvement and development is to be blamed for this aggressive world wide front and for why people arent people any more, merely robots. programmed, so easily influenced. its a shame. blinded by lies, they fail to see what happens in the world.
more people notice problems and talk about them, but yet stil do nothing. right now, i guess im doing the same, but are we beyond recovery? 40years on since my end of the world, is their time to change? if the 1960s were to be the end of the world, then to the greater extent, we are not to blame for it. just natural development and discovery was only to happen, but if the end was still to come and primarily based on global warming as many say, then we are to blame, the reluctant thirst for improvement contributes to that almost 100%.
now, there are words for this, and labels, and the world is all too used to using them, pessimistic? cynical? am i? you can call it allsorts, there are too many labels and stereotypes in call in anything now.
would be interesting to see how different people take whats been said. because people can take things different, how d'you know your getting accross what you really want to say? you never really can untill someone who thinks like you reads it. but for now, its a good way to vent, and is good for the mind.
